Show ROCKVILLE Miss Marcia Terry Reporter Mrs. Elmer Stout of Berkeley, Calif., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hirschi for several days last week. She left for St. George and will go on to her home in California on Saturday. Mrs. Robert Albright came home from Los Angeles to spend a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirschi. She expects ex-pects to leave Tuesday for Fort Knox, Ky., where her husband is stationed. Mrs. Marvin Terry spent several sev-eral days in Salt Lake City, returning re-turning home Monday. Mrs. Virgil Averett and son, Gary, of Boulder City, spent part of the week here bottling fruit. Mr. Averett and son, Bruce, came up Saturday evening and they all returned to Boulder on Sunday. Miss LaDawn Jennings and Miss Cora DeMille are employed at Mesquite. Miss Charlene Stirling and Miss Norma Hanson of Leeds and John Zohner of St. George were speakers speak-ers in Sacrament meeting. They have been employed at Zion Park lodge the past summer. Their talks were reported as very enjoyable. en-joyable. Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones visited their son, Alvin Jones and wife and daughter at Kanab last week end. Our school started on Tuesday with Bert Sullivan as principal, and Miss Gardner as primary teacher. We are glad to welcome Mr. Sullivan back after an absence ab-sence of three years. Mrs. Alice Walker of Hinckley visited with relatives last Thursday. Thurs-day. Dixon Terry came down from Price to begin school at Hurricane. |
