Show LEEDS Mrs. lizzie McQuaid Reporter Mrs. Chet Jones of' Las Vegas spent the week end here visiting her father, W. S. Nicholls. Our school commenced Monday. Mon-day. Miss Wilson is teaching. The 7th and 8th grades are being transferred to St. George. Attorney W. R. McMullin of Payson spent Wednesday visiting his mother, Mrs. R. C. McMulln. Harvey Savage spent the week end home from Provo, where he is employed. A number from here attended the Lions rodeo in St. George last week. Thrashers are here from Hurricane Hurri-cane thrashing the beet seed. The crop seems to be turning out good. Last week Mr. and Mrs. Shelley Shel-ley Killon of Los Angeles, visited with old friends, enroute to Og-den, Og-den, where Mr. KiUon will have work. Bert Sullivan has moved his family to Rockville for the winter. Mr. Sullivan will teach school in Rockville. W. S. Nicholls left Tuesday for Los Angeles. Barbara McMullin is home from Barstow, Calif., after having spent two weeks there as the guest of her cousin, Joan George. The beet seed growers have been very busy the past two weeks planting their seed. |
