Show County D. U. P. Officers Presented To 3 Local Camps Thursday Recently elected officers of the county organization. Daughters of Utah Pioneers were presented before be-fore the three local camps at their meeting held last Thursday afternoon in the reception room of the MeQuarrie Memorial hall. Rachel L. Lytle head.s the list as president, with Lorna Worthen first and Hazel B. Bradshaw second sec-ond vice presidents; Effie B. Sy-phus, Sy-phus, registrar; Ella J. Seegmiller, historian, and Juanita Brooks, assistant; as-sistant; Minnie M. Mathis, chaplain; chap-lain; Mae Brooks Harris, custodian cus-todian of relics; Puth C. Pickett, recording secretary, and Louise Judd, corresponding secretary; Ada L. Cannon, organist, Hettie S. Bentley, chorister; and Anna B. Jennings, parliamentarian, with Josephone B. Pace and Vilate Wadsworth, as transportation committee. com-mittee. Under sponsorship of the organization organ-ization the MeQuarrie Memorial is to be open to the public from 2 to 5 p. m., each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, beginning March 26. It is hoped later to have the building open full days throughout the week, at least throughout the tourist season. |
