Show Plans Announced For Listing Defense Workers Complete Schedule Given Of riace and Time Workers May Register Special plans for registering defense de-fense workers have been announced an-nounced by R. A. Murk, manager of the St. George office of the Department of Placement and Unemployment Un-employment insurance. Mr. Murk announces that he wishes all skilled tradesmen who are not now employed or who are not now using their skills in industry in-dustry to register with the State Employment sendee. Mr. Murk also recommends that all young men who have completed high school and who are now unemployed unem-ployed register with the State Employment service. "Understand," Mr. Murk said, "we are not promising jobs right now, but we do anticipate a shortage short-age of skilled labor in the next few months. We feels also that there will be more demand for unskilled labor, particularly farm labor. We believe also that industry in-dustry will soon turn to young men for training on the job. "The employment service is anxious anx-ious to have a complete picture of the labor supply in this area so that this area can do its part in furnishing man-power for national na-tional defense industries."
