Show Around the County, Arizona Strip, Part of Nevada with the Correspondents with Mr. and Mrs. John Houston. She was married Saturday to George Hughes by Bishop Byron Taylor of St. George. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Hughes. Glendon Reber, the 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralston Reber had the misfortune to be thrown from a partly loaded wagon of hay. The wagon passed over him when the horses became be-came frightened and ran away. He suffered a fractured pelvis bone, a bad cut on his head and bruises to his body. He is being treated at the McGregor hospital in St. George. The Misses Eloise Leavitt, Betty Potter and Emaline Peterson have gone to Denver to visit with La-Mar La-Mar Leavitt and Ray Adams, who are stationed there in an Army camp. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hunt of Gun-lock Gun-lock were visitors here last week. The farmers have completed harvesting of their beet seed crop for this year with indication of a fine yield. |
