Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Duward Hall and two children of Pioche spent the week end here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Bar-locker Bar-locker and daughter, Katie, went to Cedar City Saturday to attend at-tend a church welfare meeting. Katie stayed in Cedar and will attend summer school there. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bentley, Ralph Bentley and Mrs. Howard Ingle and son, Harris, spent Father's Day here with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bentley. Mrs. Ingle and son will remain here for several weeks, the others returned to their homes in Pioche the same evening. Merlin Leavitt is here from the armed forces visiting with his 'wife and son. 1 Elsie Pendleton has returned to her home in Parowan after a two-week's visit here with friends. Allan Simpkins and Stanley Adams returned to camp Sunday after a short visit here with relatives. rela-tives. DeLu and Joy Hebden of Spanish Span-ish Fork are here visiting relatives. rela-tives. A farewell party was given in the ward hall Thursday evening in honor of Arthur Huntsman, who left for Fallon, Nev., on Friday, Fri-day, where he will make his home. A program of songs and speeches with visiting and dancing furnished furn-ished entertainment for the evening. eve-ning. Mr. Huntsman sold his ranch and permit and cattle to Howard and Alma Holt before leaving. . Friday night a farewell party was given in the gymnasium for LeGrande Hunt, Merlin Truman and Orval Terry, who are leaving for Fort Douglas soon for induction induc-tion into the Army. The usual good program with dancing and luncheon were enjoyed by a large crowd. Tuesday evening a meeting of; the permittees of this section was held in the ward hall. Ranger Bob Williams, Supervisor Albert Albertson of Cedar City and a district forester from Ogden were in attendance. These men, together to-gether with some of the permittees permit-tees have gone over the range and mapped out improvements for the future. |
