Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Arnold Ruesch Reporter A farwell party was held Friday night, June IS, for Deward Millett who leaves shortly to join the Marines. A short program followed by dancing and refreshments made up the entertainment. Many relatives rela-tives and friends from other nearby near-by towns attended. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Hepworth and small daughter, visited here Sunday. Sun-day. I Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gifford spent Sunday here visiting, Mrs. Gifford remaining for a few days. Many from Springdale attended the farewell party at Rockville for Verl Langston and Lenor Cox. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Hardy visited vis-ited over' the week end with Bishop and Mrs. Alvin Hardy. Wesley Hardy, who has been sheep herding for several months is home, due to illness. Boyd Dennett of St. George was here to attend the farewell party for Deward Millett and gave the address of the evening. Mrs. Von Hoyt returned recently re-cently from visiting in Richfield. M. I. Word was received by relatives here that Miss Verl Howlett, daughter of Mrs. Sam Howkt, fell into the bear den at tC Diego zoo recently.
