Show Mothers' Day Programs Featured By Local Alice Louise Reynolds Clubs Regular sessions and Mothers' Day programs marked the Alice Louise Reynolds activities in St. George over last week end. Chapter 11 with Mrs. Willard Milne, president honored their mothers in a special program in the Relief society rooms of the South ward chapel last Thursday afternoon. The rooms were decorated dec-orated with lilacs and other spring flowers, and a log fire burned in the broad fireplace. Mrs. Milne gave the address of welcome. The tribute to club mothers was given by Mrs. Merlyn Milne in the form of an original . pianologue, with the response by her mother, Mrs. L. J. Reber of Santa Clara. Music numbers included a selection by the club chorus; solos by Mrs. Mack G. Jackson; and a piano duet by Mrs. Bud Seegmiller and Mrs. Murray Webb. The book for the day was the, "Vanishing Virginian", reviewed by Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Pickett. Chapter 16 held their regular meeting . last Friday evening at the home of Mrs. B. Jarvis with Mabel Jarvis as co-hostess. Guests included: Mrs. R. D. Adams, Mrs. Ruth Knight of Hurricane, and Mrs. H. C. Cot-tam. Cot-tam. Mrs. Mattie W. Ruesch gave the history of the child welfare program in the U. S., with several sev-eral poems illustrating the child's place in normal society. R. D.
