Show Miss Melba Sullivan and Lloyd Lee Adams Recite Marriage Vows Sat. Reciting their marriage vows under an arch of lilacs at the bride's home last Saturday evening eve-ning were Miss Melba Sullivan and Lloyd Lee Adams. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evan L. Sullivan of Leeds and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams of Washington. Gowned in a floor-length model of white airline silk, and wearing a corsage of roses and carnations, the bride was attended by the Misses La Von Adams, Laurel Mc-Mullin, Mc-Mullin, Elaine Cannon and Carma Sullivan as bridesmaids. Hal Sullivan, Sul-livan, brother of the bride served as best man. Bishop Stanley Fuller Ful-ler of Leeds performed the ceremony, cere-mony, which was witnessed by family members and a few guests. Following the ceremony, dinner was served. A reception and dance honoring the couple was held Tuesday evening eve-ning in the Washington ward chapel. Friends and relatives from both Washington and Leeds as well as others from around the county attended. Both young people have been students at the Dixie junior college. col-lege. Mr. Adams has joined the Navy and will leave soon for induction. |
