Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Rowena YV. Slack Reporter Last Saturday evening the Elders' quorums of LaVerkin and Toquer-ville, Toquer-ville, with their partners, united in sponsoring a social in the To-querville To-querville recreation hall. The evening's eve-ning's entertainment included a short program, serving of refreshments refresh-ments and dancing. Bishop Walter H. Slack returned re-turned Monday from Provo where he visited the past week. Mr. and . Mrs. LaVell Sylvester entertained a group of relatives and friends at their home Sunday evening at a birthday anniversary party honoring Mrs. Worthen Gregerson. Mrs. Florence Abbott returned Friday from visiting her husband, Pvt. Abbott, who is in training at Camp Cook, Calif. Visiting speakers at Toquerville Sacrament services last Sunday were Wayne Hinton of Hurricane and Wayne Wilson of LaVerkin. Both are members of the Zion Park High Council. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Peterson of Cedar City visited Saturday and Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Kleinman. Mrs. Walter Beatty of Kanab visited in Toquerville Saturday. Sheriff and Mrs. Antone B. Prince and son, Jimmie, of St. George visited Sunday at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Anderson. Mrs. William Bringhurst returned re-turned Sunday from St. George, where she visited for several days with her daughter, Mrs. Norma Empey. Mrs. Rhea Wakeling returned Monday from Los Angeles where she has been visiting for the past month. N Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell and family of Cedar City visited in Toquerville Saturday and Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dodge, parents of Mrs. Maxwell. |
