Show Party Held On Sugar Loaf For Athena Club Saturday The Athena club members with their partners and a large number of guests staged a delightful hamburger ham-burger and corn roast dinner on the Sugar Loaf recreation center last Saturday evening, more than 50 attending. Following the dinner, Mrs. William Wil-liam Brooks directed the program which included community singing with Mrs. Gilbert Hyatt accompanying accom-panying on the guitar; humorous readings by Alma Lambert and Mrs. L. L. McAllister; and two elver skits, "Fashions In Hats", featuring Mrs. Donald Schmutz, reader, W. W. McArthur and Roxey S. Romney; "Ikie and Rosie", a short story by William Brooks, B. Glen Smith, Guy Hafen and Mrs. Donald Schmutz, written by Mrs. Juanita Brooks; and a dialogue, "The Professor's ' Decision", by Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Hafen. |
