Show Winter M. I. A. Work Started In Four Wards The Y. L. and Y. M. M. I. A. organizations org-anizations of the four St. George wards got off to a good start on their winter's program Tuesday evening. Each ward met separately separ-ately for brief preliminary song programs and instruction of officers offi-cers and teachers, preceding a dance and social in the Recreation hall, where all four wards were united. All four wards were well represented. Sustained by the hopefulness expressed ex-pressed in the 1942-43 M. I. A. slogan, slo-gan, which urges faith in divine guidance, even in times like these; the M. I. A. officers and teachers are looking forward to a banner year of classwork and activities. Complete outlines for the year's program were received and discussed dis-cussed at a recent officers' conference con-ference held in the Elementary school building. Class work will begin in all four wards next Tuesday Tues-day evening, when the program for the year will be explained. |
