Show Atkin Family Holds Reunion Here On Sunday With members of the family here from Canada, a family organization or-ganization of the descendants of William Atkin was formed last Sunday afternoon at a banquet and meeting held in . the Arrowhead Arrow-head Hotel dinning room. The family was welcomed by Joseph Atkin Jr., who turned the program over to Mrs. Grace Woodbury, Wood-bury, toastmaster. She announced during the banquet, songs by the following: Lillian Workman, Leo Smith, Agusta Erickson, Grace Woodbury and Dilworth Snow. After the banquet, the group adjourned ad-journed to the Tabernacle where they had their picture taken. This setting seemed fitting to the group in that, Mr. Atkin had been a mason on that building. Following the banquet they returned re-turned to the Hotel where the family organization was effected. Joseph T. Atkin Jr. and John A. Mesdames Jetta Snow and Grace Woodbury were appointed assistants assist-ants and Mesdames Hazel Lake and Leona A t k i n, secretaries. Musical numbers at this meeting were a piano solo by Miss Pauline Snow and a vocal solo by William Atkin Sr. An evening of visiting was enjoyed at the Joseph T. Atkin At-kin Sr. home. Those attending the reunion from out of town were: Mr. ani Mrs. John A. Johansen and twe daughters of Canada; Miss Lee Nielson, of Spokane, Washington; Mr. and Mrs. Reber Oldroyd anc Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Graham, oi Fairview, Utah; Miss Ida Nielson of Canada; Mrs. Augusta EricK son, of Canada; Mrs. Annie Tan nie, Mrs. Grace Woodbury an Mrs. Abbie Dutson of Provo t Salt Lake City. |
