Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Reporter Mrs. Dee Seegmiller and Mrs. Eleanor Smith of St. George were visiting at the home of Annie W. Wilkinson on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Perkins spent Saturday in Kanarraville with relatives. Our school closed Friday after a very successful year, with Mrs. Thelma Biggers as teacher. She gave a very nice closing program Friday night and graduating exercises exer-cises for the two graduates, Ray Allen and Wayne Cox. We regret very much that Mrs. Biggers will not be with us next year. She has signed up to teach in Mt. Trumbull. She and her husband are leaving Tuesday for points in Nevada, where they expect to remain this summer. Robert Woodbury of the high council and our bishopric of Hurricane Hur-ricane south ward, Elmer Graff, Maurice Nuttall and Emerald Stout all met with us Sunday in church gatherings. Our branch was reorganized. Ernest Allen was sustained as Presiding Elder and Ellis Stock as Sunday school, superintendent. |
