Show Milton E. Moody Honored By South Ward A program and social honoring Milton E. Moody was given in the South ward chapel Wednesday evening at which time he was presented pre-sented with a handsome rocking chair in appreciation for his years j of service as a counselor to Bp. Harold S. Snow. Mr. Moody recently re-cently asked to be released because be-cause of the many duties resting upon him and his needs to go away at times in connection with his school work. Andrew Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur was then appointed to fill the vacancy in the Bishopric and was set apart to commence his labors in that capacity. The program last night consisted consist-ed of congregational singing, a tribute written by Mabel Jarvis J to Mr. Moody and read by DeVora ! Whitehead, a vocal solo by Noma i i Andrus, trio by Melba Baker, j ! Alice Cannon and Ruth Miles, or- ! gan selection, Seth Harper; instrumental in-strumental duet by Waldo Brooks and Bobbie Fordham; talks by Pres. W. O. Bentley, Bishop Snow. Harold B. Lee, Mr. Eardley and Waldo Brooks. The remainder of the evening was spent in games and dancing after which refreshments were served . |
