Show Enterprise Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter The Enterprise Chapter of the D.U.P. held their regular meeting in the Relief Society house Friday. Capt. Gertrude Lund was in charge of the meeting. The following follow-ing program was rendered. Song, by members; prayer, Chaplain Sarah Morris; lesson, "Historical Miracles", Ila Terry; song, by members. A history of Enterprise school was given by Josephine Huntsman. Pafreshmen1s were served to thirteen members by Mary Holt, Alta Truman and Rose Barlocker. The ward primary association was reorganized. The following officers were released, Rose Bar-' Bar-' locker, president with Pheobe Lamb and Wanda Abbot, counselors. counse-lors. Stella Holt was sustained as president with Thelma Stahcli and May Pate as her counselors. Mrs. Cliff Hull entertained the little friends of her son, Elton, on his fifth birthday Friday afternoon. after-noon. Cake and punch was served to eleven boys and girls. Mrs. Clair Jones entertained the Ladies sewing club at her home Thursday. The afternoon was spent in sewing and visiting after which refreshments were served to ten members. Twenty-one friends of Edna Barlow's Bar-low's from Cedar City and Enterprise Enter-prise surprised her on Wednesday night. The oceassion was her sixteenth six-teenth birthday. The evening was spent in playing rook and visiting. A fathers and sons banquet was given in the gymnasium on Monday, Mon-day, Jan. 31. A very good program was given with all taking part. After the banquet, volley ball and basketball were played with the sons being victorious in both. |
