Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City, Utah, January 24, 1938. Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Bureau or Reclamation, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application Appli-cation in accordance with the laws of Utah to appropriate 4,000 ac. ft. of water from Big creek or Kolob creek in Washington county, Utah. Said water will be stored from January 1 to December 31, inclusive, of each year by means of an impounding dam constructed across the natural channel of said stream, at a point located E. 2127 ft. and N. 270 ft. from the SW corner Sec. 36, T. 38 S., R. 11 W., SLB&M. The reservoir thus formed form-ed will have a capacity of 4,000 ac. ft. The stored water will be released, as needed, from February Febru-ary 1 to December 15, inclusive, of each year, allowed to flow into the Virgin river and rediverted into canals at points located as follows: (1) Crawford ditch, S. 250 ft. and E. 1300 ft. from the NW corner Sec. 22; (2) Flanigan ditch, S. 550 ft. and E. 950 ft. from the NW corner Sec. 22; (3) Springdale Consolidated Irrigation Company ditch, N. 1320 ft. from SE corner Sec. 21; (4) Rockville Town ditch, W. 1725 ft. from Ei corner Sec. 32, all in T. 41 S., R. 10 W.; (5) Rockville South field ditch, N. 450 ft. and E. 1350 ft. from SW corner Sec. 6, T. 42 S., R. 10 W.; (6) Grafton Upper ditch, N. 1050 ft. and E. 2300 ft. from SW corner Sec. 2, T. 42 S., R. 11 W.; (7) Virgin North field ditch, N. 1150 ft. and W. 1150 ft. from SU corner Sec. 30, T. 41 S., R. 11 W.; (8) Hurricane canal, S 15 deg. E. 1217 ft. from NW corner Sec. 29, T. 41 S., R. 12 W.; (9) LaVerkin Bench canal, S. 54 ft. and E. 515 ft. from Shi corner Sec. 19, T. 41 S., R. 12 W.; (10) St. George and Washington canal, S. 1150 ft. and E. 350 ft. from W U corner Sec. 21, T. 42 S., R. 14 W.; (Ill Bloomington canal, S. 21 deg. The water re-diverted, re-diverted, as hereinbefore described, describ-ed, will be used to irrigate 10,000 acres of land embraced in parts of Sees. 23, 24, 25, 26, 33, 31, and 35, T. 41 S., R. 13 W.; Sees. 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21. 22, 23, 24, 29. 30, 31 and 32, T. 42 S., R. 14 W.; Sees. 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 131. 32. 33, 34, and 35, T. 42 S R. 15 W.; Sees. 2. 3. 4, 10. 15, 16. 17. 20 and 21, T. 42 S., R. 13 W.; Sees. 12, 13, 14, 22 and 23, T. 43 S., R. 16 W.; Sees. 2, 3, 5, 18, 9, 10, 11. 12. 13. 14. 16 and 23, jT. 43 S., R. 15 W.; Sees. 21, 22, 1 28, 29 and 32, T. 41 S., R. 10 I W.; Sees. 1. 12, 22, 23. 25, 26, and 27. T. 41 S., R. 12 W.; Sees. 5 and 6, T. 42 S., R. 10 W.; Sees. 11. 2, 3, and 4, T. 42 S., R. 11 W.; Sees. 5, 6, 7. 8, 16, 17, 18, 1 21, 27, 28 and 29, T. 43 S., R. 14 W., all with reference to SLB&M. This Application is designated in the office of the State Engineer as No. 12571. All protests resisting the granting grant-ing of said Application, with reasons rea-sons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys.
