Show 1 Outstanding Speaker To Be On Civic Clubs Program At Cedar City One of the most successful travel association executives in the country, Charles A. Horrworth, public relations director of the All-Year Club of Southern California, Califor-nia, will be the principal speaker at the meeting of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah in Cedar City on Saturday and Sunday, Sun-day, Feb. 19 and 20. according to Pres. James H. Sargent. "The association is fortunate in obtaining the services of Mr. Horrworth Hor-rworth at this time as his experience ex-perience will be helpful in determining de-termining the most feasible methods of advertising southern Utah during the next year. Outlining Out-lining the year's advertising campaign cam-paign will be the major item of business to come before the members mem-bers and directors," states President Presi-dent Sargent. Thomas W. The meeting at Cedar City is being sposored by the chamber of commerce with Pres. Arthur Gardner Gard-ner and Walter G. Lunt in charge of all arrangements. The business session will convene at 2:30 p.m., probably in the Branch Agricultural Agricul-tural college auditorium, with a banquet and dance in the evening. Members and visitors are urged to attend. Special invitations are being sent to civic leaders in all Utah and nearby states and Oliver Goer-man, Goer-man, secretary of the Las Vegas chamber of commerce, reports that he and several others will be present from this city. |
