Show Final Rites Held For Former Dixieite At Tabernacle Today Funeral services are being held at 4:00 this afternoon for Milo Andrus who died at 4:25 Monday-afternoon Monday-afternoon from a heart spell while working at the James Ryan ranch near' Caliente, Nevada where he Had been employed the past 19 years. Charles Andrus left Tuesday morning for that place and brought the body here for burial. Milo was born at St. George, September 8, 1870 a son of James and Laura Gibson Andrus. He spent his boyhood here where he took advantage of all the education educa-tion possible and then went to Provo to school for two years. He helped his father on the range and became very interested in stock-raising as a young man and followed that occupation until un-til his death. He was married in the St. George Temple to Mary Nixon but later separated and were divorced. His two children are Gwen of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Lola Woodbury Wood-bury of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by one brother, James Andrus Jr., of Salt Lake City and two sisters, Nora Mac-farlane Mac-farlane of Salt Lake City and Thamizan Lund of St. George, and by the following half brothers and sisters: Moses, A. B., and Charles and Vilate Wadsworth and Pearl Morris all of St. George. |
