Show Enterprise Mrs. Theresa Iluntsman Reporter Woodruff Holt came from Susan-ville, Susan-ville, Calif. Friday. His wife and son returned with him on Sunday, Sun-day, Miss Josephine Holt, from Las Vegas, accompanied them. The Misses Elaine Holt and Jennie Terry spent several days of the past week visiting here with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. William Lund made a business trip to St. George on Friday. They visited at Hurricane and Santa Clara while away, attended conference in St. George and returned to Enterprise Enter-prise Monday. The Enterprise ward furnished the music for the stake conference in St. George. Many others of the Aaronic priesthood and the parents par-ents attended conference. Five men from here responded to the call of the church security leaders for help on the new store house being erected in St. George and spent Monday there working. This was a poor representation rep-resentation as far as numbers go, but others .are planning to go later. We have had some disagreeable weather here for several days. Sunday the wind blew hard and storms threatened, a little rain fell Tuesday and Wednesday night frost hit the vegetation with some disagreeable results. Mrs. Laura Pulsipher from St. George made a business trip here Saturday. Mrs. Mary Ann Huntsman has gone to St. George to work in the Temple. Mrs. Huntsman is now in her eightyninth year and is the oldest person living in our community. She was one of the first pioneers to Hebron and one of the first to settle in Enterprise. At 89 she is able to do all her own work and raise beautiful flowers. She has a memory better bet-ter than the average young person. per-son. Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Robinson and Mrs. Orlas Alger have returned re-turned to their homes in "Mont-alvo, "Mont-alvo, Calif., after having visited with relatives here for the past several days. Ivor Clove and John Z. Alger had a mining expert out Monday looking over their mining claims. They think they have something good in lead, silver and copper. |
