Show Murdock Reports Okeh Of Virgin Bridge Below Washington City A telegram of vital importance to this section was received by the county commissioners Monday. Mon-day. It reads as follows: Washington, D. C. "The WPA and President have approved Virgin River Bridge Project. Allotment of $15,000 will be available. Commence construction very near future". Signed: Congressman Abe Murdock. The text of the message was affirmed by Senator William H. King and brings prospects of an early beginning of work on this long needed bridge, which will be a 435 foot span construction. It will cross the river south of the town of Washington, where the present wagon road crosses the stream.
