Show j Leeds Mrs. Lizzie McQuaid Reporter The Seagull girls of primary entertained at a Mothers' Day dinner on Friday, May 12. Mrs. Maude Seegmiller, stake Seagull leader, of St. George, was a special guest. Rose corsages were presented to each guest. Dinner was served to 17. On Monday evening the junior high school presented their band in a concert and also a puppet show, under the direction of Mrs. Beth Schmutz. Sunday evening in sacrament meeting the program was given by the Aaronic priesthood. Talks were given by Carlyle Stirling, and Kay Caldwell, a song by Clive Hartman, followed by a talk by Silas Bushman and Bishop McMullin. Our relief society held its last meeting for the summer today. Mrs. George Olson has been sick for several days. Her condition con-dition is much improved at this time. Mrs. Lizzie Wilder of Lovell, Wyo., is here visiting her brother, W. S. Nicholls and family. On Tuesday of last week the following ladies visited with their brothers, David and Joseph Stirling Stir-ling and sister, Mrs. Amman Jolley; Eleanor Scott of Cedar City; Alice Singleton and Verne Sanderson of Eureka and Ida Tullis of New Castle. |
