Show Rockyille Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporter Mr. and Mrs. William Mansor and son, Earl, of Elko, Nev., have been visiting at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Jacob Dalton. Mr. Mansor left on the ninth to visit with her mother in Circleville, after which the family will return re-turn to Nevada. Last Wednesday the Primary was visited by Mrs. Lena Gates, Mrs. Ellen S. Wittwer and Mrs. Blanche Wright Mrs. Philetus Jones and Mrs. Caroline Lemmon have been ill for the past week with flu. Miss Marion Hirschi was hostess host-ess at a party given in honor of her sister, Tanya, on her fifth birthday anniversary. Sixteen guests were present. She received many pretty and useful gifts. Molasses candy and peanuts were . served. Mr. and Mrs. Artimus DeMille entertained seventeen friends of their son, Stanley, at a party given for him at the lower camp grounds of Zion National Park on December 8. Refreshments were hot dogs and roasted marsh-mallows. marsh-mallows. The school elects its officers and policemen each month with the exception of treasurer who is elected for a year. Past presidents presi-dents are: Ramona Hirschi, Bruce Averett, Breill Hirschi; past vice presidents: Dixon Terry, Robin Hirschi, Robert DeMille; past secretaries: Lois Regland, Marion Hirschi, Richard Erwin; treasurer, Eldona DeMille. Present officers are Betty DeMille, De-Mille, president; Devon Terry, vice president; Melvin Ballard, secretary. Policemen are: Lois Regland, Jerry Henderson, and Bruce Averett. The school children are on their annual scalp hunt. Ramona and Lorna Hirschi chose sides. Granaries, Gran-aries, barnyards, fields and hills are being explored for their unwelcome un-welcome denizons. Mr. and Mrs. Artimus DeMille, Mr. and Mrs. Alma DeMille and Mrs. Hyrum DeMille spent Thursday Thurs-day night at the Temple. Keith Terry of St. George and Beulah Barber and Wilma Isom of Hurricane were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Terry on November 28, for Thanksgiving dinner. |
