OCR Text	Show CANE BEDS, ARIZ. A surprise party was given Sunday Sun-day evening by friends of mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Wilkinson the occasion being Mr. Wilkinson's birthday. Those attending Union meeting at Hurricane Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Thurston, Frank Thurston and Mrs. Charles Walker. Wal-ker. Frank Thurston has gone to the sheep herd intending to stay this summer. Clarence Perkins is up and around again after a week's illness ill-ness with .flu. Mrs. Sorenson took her school up in Short Creek Canyon on Mpnday for a hike.
