Show HURRICANE PLANS FRUIT CONVENTION A Fruit Growers' Convention is being planned for March 16. to be held at Huricane. The entire en-tire day will be devoted to horticultural hor-ticultural practices that will benefit bene-fit you in your activities as r fruit grower. Professor F. M. Coe of the Utah Agricultural College, who is also in charge of the Hurricane the day's activities. New Methods in Pruning. Spraying, and Thinning. 3. Better Fruit Production by Tncreasing Yealds Per Acre. 4. Orchard Heating as a Means of Frost Control. 5. Marketing Early and Medium Med-ium Varieties on the Salt Lake Market. The meetings will begin at 10 A.M. March 16, and will run all day, including an evening session, j Part of the work will be conducted conduct-ed at the Experiment Station and lis departmental sessions will be inducted at the North Ward , Chapel. j |
