Show LADIES CV OF C. AUXILIARY ! ENTERTAINS The ladies of the Chamber of: Commerce entertained at a public j card party, in the Banquet room of the Hotel Liberty, Wednesday afternoon. There were five tables of bridge, three of five hundred and seven of rook. Prizes were won by Mrs. Mary McArthur for high score in bridge; Mrs. Afton McArthur Mc-Arthur won the 500 prize, and Mrs. Lela Lightner carried off the honors for rook. A delightful luncheon was served, ser-ved, after which new officer: for the coming, year were elected, which were as follows: Vivian Woodbury, Zina Reed, Fern Seeg miller, Alice Webster, Grace Bowman, Bow-man, Leah McArthur, Ruth Pickett, Pic-kett, Emma Ashby and Haze1 Simpson. The retiring President, Anne R. Price, gave a resume of the past year's activities, stating that the association had served dinners din-ners to park workers on various park days; they also sponsored a Dixie College scholarship; ar sisteel the Dixie College alumr.' in furthering a project; aided th Stake M. I. A. in financing tlv contest operetta in their trip t Salt Lake to take part in the finals; contributed to maintinancr of the Red Cross nurse, and othe civic activities.
