Show "HIS. PINAFORE" TO BE PRESENTED NEXT WEDNESDAY Th opera, "H. M. S. Pinafore," under the direction of Professor Joseph W. McAllister, will be presented at the D'ixie college auditorium March 21, and 22, with a matinee performance March 20 This is a typical comedy of English sea life. Elaborate preparations are being be-ing made for presentation of the opera, including the building o! special scenery by LeGene and Alfred Morris. An orchestra under the direction direc-tion of Professor Earl J. Bleak, will assist with the production. The principals include the following fol-lowing members: Ralph Rackstraw Maeser Terry Josephine... Boatswain Wayne: Robertson Boatswain's Mate A. J. Leavitt Middie Leun Watson Segt. of Marines Murray Webb This cast is supported by a mixed chorus of fifty members. According to school official: this is one of the outstanding productions given by the Dixie college. Clyde Castro, business manager, mana-ger, reports that costume have been ordered and all detailed ar- i rangements have been made foi a successful performance. |
