Show CARD ROOMS AN ORDINANCE Amending Section 283 of the 1930 Revised Ordinances of toe City of St. George, Utah. Be it ordained by the City Council Coun-cil of the City of St. George, Utah: Section 1. Section Amended. Section 283 of the 1930 Revised Ordinances of the City of St. George is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 283. Playing on Sunday, or After Midnight, or by Certain Persons Prohibited It shall be unlawful un-lawful for any person licensed to conduct a card room or card tables, to suffer or permit the use of a card -room or card tables, ta-bles, or the playing of cards open to the public, or for any person to play cards on any such table or in any such room, on the first day of the week commonly called Sunday, or between the hours of 12 o'clock midnight and 9 o'clock a. m. of any day. It shall be unlawful un-lawful for any person licensed to conduct a card room or card tables ta-bles to permit or allow any person under the age of twenty-one years, or female, or Indian, or insane or idiotic person to visit, frequent, or remain in any such card . room cr at such card tables, or to allow al-low disorderly conduct in any such card room or at such card tables. It shall be unlawful for any person under twenty-one years of age to visit, frequent, or remain in any such card room or at such card tables or to misrepresent his age for the purpose of gaining admittance admit-tance to such place.
