Show SOUTH WARD HONORS RETiRINGJISHOPRIG Nearly Three Hundred Attend Party at Gym Tuesday Evening. The South ward gave a party in the gymnasium Tuesday evening eve-ning honoring the outgoing bishop, bish-op, F. G. Miles and his' counselor, Gordon Mathis. The fore part of the evening was spent in games and old-fashioned dances. The following program was given: giv-en: Reading, Miss Mabel Jarvis; duet, Mrs. Gladys Hafen and Mrs. Annie Whipple; piano duet, Miss Florence Whipple and Miss De-Vora De-Vora Whitehead; vocal solo, Mrs. Paula Mathis. Ice cream and wafers were served serv-ed to nearly three hundred, after which dancing was again resumed for the rest of the evening. The general committee in charge was composed of Milton E. Moody, Bishop Harold Snow and George Lytle. Games were in charge of Leon Hickman and Miss Ruby Bryner. Refreshments, Mrs. Edwin Higbee and Mrs. Jos. W. Prince. Finance and buying, George Brooks. Tokens were presented by Bishop Harold Snow and George Brooks. |
