Mrs. Geneva Jones, Mrs. Sarah Hardy and Mrs. Raymond Cannon Can-non entertained at a shower Wednesday Wed-nesday for Mrs. Laura Burgese. at the home of Mrs. Cannon. There were 50 invited guests. Mrs. Leslie A. Poulson and Mrs. Frank R. Pace of Richfield, spent Tuesday here en route home from a trip to California. Mrs. Poulson visited her sister, Mrs. C. W. Love, while here. A reception was held for Mr. and Mrs. George S. Jennings last night in the science building, given by the immediate relatives of Mrs. Jennings. There were about 75 guests present. An excursion of twenty-one from Parowan, several from Zion stake, Paragoonah, Toquerville and La Verkin came in today to work in the temple. Eight came up from Littlefield. One hundred forty-three are working in the temple today. George S. Jennings of Rockville and Miss Eleanor Ward, daughter of Mrs. Annie Van Arden, were married Wednesday in the St. George temple. They left for Rockville Rock-ville this morning where they will make their home for the present. |
