Show MILES JVDT TAKES LEAD IX B. Y. U. BOYS' SHOW Miles Judd, of St. George, kept the audience rocking with laughter laugh-ter during both performances of "The Milky Way," April 11 and 12, annual Brigham 'Sloung university uni-versity boys' show. He played the part of Burleigh (Sullivan, Who was transformed from a timid milkman into an overconfident would-be pugilist afraid of nothing noth-ing but of killing his opponents. Critics unanimously said he gave the outstanding characterization of the play. Last year Mr. Judd won an award for his portrayal of Mait-reya Mait-reya in the annual competitive play, and . while attending the Dixie Junior college he received the dramatic award for .two consecutive con-secutive years. He will be graduated grad-uated this spring with a major in speech. Tradition was broken in "The Milky Way." Two coeds were given parts. In the past, all parts in the boys' show) both male and female characterizations were taken by men. |
