Show 1UOAPA VALLEY HIGH TO ENTER PROVO SCHOOL MTJSIO MEET OVERTON, nJfiVADA, April 13 The Moapa Valley High school band and glee club presented a musical, Thursday evening to a large and appreciative crowd in the Overton auditorium. The. progTam consisted entir-j ely of numbers required for the inter-mountain high school music meet, which the Moapa. valley youngsters have been invited to attend at Provo, April 18, 19 and 20. The meet will consist of fifty-five fifty-five bands from Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Wy-oming, Colorado and Nevada. Besides the band and chorus numbers, representing months of concentrated effort by the members mem-bers as well as instructor, A. E. Johnson, solos were presented as follows: Trombone, Raymond Cox; trumpet, Dick Johnson; clarinet, Garner Anderson; vocal, Elwyn Pocock. |
