Show jTWENTY-FIVE MEMBERS OF CEDAR CITY B.P.W.C. VISIT WITjUOCAL CLUB Wednesday evening, April 17, twenty-five members of the Cedar City chapter of the National Federation Fed-eration of the Business and Professional Pro-fessional Wjomen's club made a good will visit to the St. George chapter. Dinner was served at the Hotel Liberty to the guests and thirty-five local women. Mrs. Anne Price, president of the St. George group welcomed the visit-oils visit-oils and introduced the master of ceremonies, Mrs. Buelah Low-man, Low-man, Membership Chairman of the Cedar City chapter, who was acting in the absence of the president. The program presented by the visitors consisted of the following: two numbers by the club trio, a reading by Mrs. Eula Rollins, a collection of rare jokes by Mrs. Alta Hunter, two clever musical readings by Mrs. Beth Leigh, and an interesting account ac-count of her travels around the world by Miss Sofia Lundgren. Miss Lundgren sailed for Hawaii Ha-waii in 1931. She returned to the States to visit in 193 3, returning re-turning shortly to the Islands. In March 1934 she left Hawaii, enr-oute to Japan. She spent considerable time traveling the Orient, making Shanghi her headquarters' head-quarters' for five months. After leaving China, she traveled to ! Italy via. Manila, Malay Straits, Ceylon, Bombay, Egypt. She visited vis-ited varioua Eureopean countries, then crossed to Sweeden, where she spent Christmas with her father's people in Stockholm. Miss Lundgren returned to the United States in January. She spent some time in Baltimore visiting vis-iting with her sister then returned return-ed to Cedar City, where she will stay with her parents for several months before returning to Ha- WaThe local women were more than Pleased with the visit of the Cedar City chapter. They feel that such relationship between be-tween the women of the two com-LuTttes com-LuTttes is wholly desirable.
