Nelson, of Los Angeles, came in Sunday, for a week's visit with relatives. Mrs. Clara Lee returned Monday, Mon-day, from Panaca, Nevada, where she spent several days with relatives. re-latives. Word has been received from Miss Emily Brough, that she is enjoying her work in the Ha-wiian Ha-wiian 'temple and her tour of the islands very much. Mr. and Mrs. Claudius Bowman, Bow-man, of Colonia Bublan, Chihuahua, Chihua-hua, Mexico, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Bowman here. They will remain until Wilford M. Farnsworth, who is in the Iron County hospital is able to travel. He was seriously injured, in-jured, when their car was wrecked wreck-ed near Cedar City, a week ago. Mr. Bowman is President of the Juarez Stake. and Mr. Farnsworth is his second counselor. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tobler, of Washington, entertained at dinner, Sunday evening, at their home in honor of the birthday of Mrs. Tobler's mother, Mrs. Lavina Allen, of this city. Guests included, Mr. and ' Mrs. Fred Brooks and family, of La Verkin, and Mtr. and Mrs. Pratt Miles and baby and the guest of honor, of St. George. Mrs. William Matthews and daughter, Miss Esther arrived here last Friday, 'from Joiseco, Nevada, to spend a few weeks working in the temple. Miss Julia Huntington, who broke her arm in a fall down j stairs nearly seven weeks ago Still suffers .considerable pain from it, although it seems to be healing slowly. |
