Show K1GIIT HKCOKDS BROKEN IV VtltGlX VALLEY MEET Four teams participated in the Virgin Valley track and Field meet held on the Virgin Valley held, Saturday, April 13th, which saw eight track records broken. Las Vegas placed first with sixty-seven sixty-seven points, Virgin was second with 3S, Dixie was third with 2 7 and Overton was fourth with 3 points. Those making new records for the Virgin Valley track were: H. Leavitt, Virgin, shot put, 4 5 feet 7 inches; Riley, Las Vegas, mile run, 5 minutes 7.5 seconds; Leavitt, Virgin, discus throw, 116 feet, five inches; Wade, Dixie, high jump, 6 feet; Wade, Leavitt, Painter and Gubler, Dixie, 880 relay, 1 minute 3 9 seconds; Casey, Las Vegas, 440 yard dash, 54.2 seconds; Rhodes, Las Vegas, .broad jump, 21 feet; Casey, Dev-erell, Dev-erell, Stinson and Baez, Las Vegas, medley relay, 3 minutes 51.S seconds. Ha fen Leavitt, of Virgin Valley, Val-ley, was the high point man of the meet. Leavitt captured three first places and as high point man was awarded a medal.
