Show Utes clash in meets j The Uintah Ute gymnastics team competed com-peted in meets at Uintah High School and Union High School this past week. Mountain Moun-tain View placed first in the meet at Uintah Uin-tah March 29 and Timpview netted second. se-cond. Uintah placed third. Julie Crane, Uintah, picked up first place honors in the optional floor exercise exer-cise at 8.3 and placed second in the vault. She also netted third in the balance beam. Lisa Oswald nabbed fourth in the balance beam and seventh in the floor exercise. Stacy Langley placed second in the all-around in the beginning class. Crane placed first in the optional vault and floor exercise at a meet at Union High School in Roosevelt March 30. She also placed third in the balance beam and Oswald netted sixth in the floor exercise. ex-ercise. Dana Abplanalp picked up first place in the balance beam. Abplanalp .V - garnered third place in the beginning floor exercise and Barb Hancock placed fourth in the uneven parallel bars. Union placed first in the meet and Uintah netted net-ted second.
