Show UDT passes 1984 program The Utah Transportation Commission passed the 1984 Fiscal Year State Rehabilitation Program , which includes several improvements in the Uintah Basin. Of the $28 million available, $5 million is from mineral lease monies for rehabilitation of state highways. Included in the five projects sharing the funding is an 8-mile section of State Route 40 east of Jensen, which will be receiving a new 2'2 inch surface. Also scheduled in District 6 is a new construction on State Route 35, a 2.2 mile section will be constructed to 28 feel wide. Other projects in the state are on State Routes 189 and 89 on University Avenue and Springville Main Street, State Route 247 in Orem and State Route 132. . |
