Show Ballard I Telintha Rasmussen I Phone 722-4875 J Halls visit in California Mr. and Mrs. Rick Hall and family drove to California for the Thanksgiving holidays and spent ten days visiting relatives in Anaheim and San Diego. While there in Anaheim they had a family reunion at Rick's parent's home. Two of his sisters and families from Salt Lake City were there. Tom Hancock and Debby Gornaier were married Dec. 4 in the Assembly of God Church in Roosevelt. A reception followed the wedding. After a short honeymoon they will be living in the Rasmussen home just south of the Ballard Town and County Building. Bernard and Mary Larson's mission address is General Delivery, Fort Washakie, Wyo. 82514. The Earl Gardner family were all home for Thanksgiving day. Those from out of the Basin were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gardner and daughter of Salt Lake City and Kip of Weber College in Ogden. Laddy Timothy and his son-in-law Dr. Colman H. Scheuller of Kaysville were at their aunt's, Telintha Rasmussen, home recently. Dr. Schueller went on to Vernal where he had appointments. Laddy remained and visited his aunt for the day. Ronald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Ward, and Lori, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Powell of Mt. Wells, were married Dec. 5 and a reception followed in 1st Ward Cultural Hall in Roosevelt. After a short honeymoon these young people will make their home in a trailer somewhere close to his parent's home on their property. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rasmussen have a new grandson bom Nov. 27 in the Duchesne County Hospital. He weighed 9 lbs. 7 oz. and will be named Michael Jay. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Cleo Rasmussen of Gusher. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen. |
