Despain, Manila, at the Manila Ward Chapel. He died Dec. 6, 1981 at the age of 16. He was born July 6, 1965 in Evanston, Wyo. to John Elden and Leona Gail Potter Despain. Randall was a junior at Manila High School where he was manager of the basketball team, junior class president and yearbook editor. He was an honor roll student and a member of the LDS church, Manila Ward. Bishop Bill Briggs was in charge of the services. Layne Potter gave the family prayer with the invocation by Bill Nelson. Prelude and postlude music was done by Stan Stewart. Ron Hamblin and Waneta Lamb sang. Remarks were given to Bishop Briggs and Coach Brian Beard was a speaker. Bill Carter gave the benediction and Weldon Potter dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Mike Radosevich, Troy Gale, Kevin Mitchell, Lance Slaugh, Andy Meinrod and Jerry Muir. Honorary pallbearers consisted of the Manila High School basketball team. The Manila High School cheerleaders and drill team were in charge of the flowers. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery. ' ' ' Randall is survived by his parents of Manila, one sister, Starla Gail, Manila; grandparents, Orval and Relva Potter, Manila and Mary and Sylvan Arrowsmith, Vernal, and one great-grandmother, great-grandmother, Chloa Slaugh, Manila. |
