Show J. K. Carter interred in Moab 0 J. K. Carter, 47, died June 24, 1981 in Moab of a sudden illness. He was born September 13, 1933 in Vernal to Ferron and Virginia Ken-en Carter. He lived in Vernal a short time before moving to Moab. He attended school in Grand County and Utah State University. In 1956 he married Anne Marie Klohd in Germany. He is a member of the LDS Church and the Moab's Elk Lodge. He was affiliated with the International 195 Flying Club and the Aircraft owners and pilots association. He was owner of Skyline Transport and Diesel Service. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Ava Johnson, Claudia and Monica, all of Moab and one granddaughter. grand-daughter. Services were held Monday, June 29 in Moab. Interrment was in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Moab. |
