Show Robert Singleton dies of heart failure Robert Marvin Singleton, 65, died June 2t, 19H1 in the Ashley Vulley Medical Center of heart failure. Born Jan. 13, 1916 in Vernal to Albert and Lillian Vernal Singleton, he married Flora Merkley Jan. 1, 1946. He was a memlx-rof the LDS Church and a veteran of World War II, Marine Corps. Survivors are his widow of Vernal; son, Rolx-rt Dennis Singleton of Tatum, New Mexico; daughter, Mrs. Charles (Connie) Pope of Vernal; eight grandchildren; grand-children; brothers and sisters, Verden R. of Lake Tahoe, Calfornia; Marie Yates of Casper, Wyoming and Venna Frasher of Houston, Texas. Funeral services are Thursday, July 2, 1981 at 11 a.m. in the Vernal 7th Ward Chapel, 850 West 1st North. Friends may call at the Thomson's Vernal Mortuary Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion. |
