Show C Lapoint Rrda fTlansfield Phone 247-3767 Jacob Mansfield family gathers for reunion The family of Jacob M. Mansfield held a family reunion at their home last weekend. There were twenty five people in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. James Mansfield, Mr. and Mrs. Kim Mansfield from Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Mikeol Hammond, Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Nance and family, Salina. Several accidents plagued the reunion attenders, James Mansfield's car was struck from the rear by a hit-and-run, while Mike Hammonds vehicle was hit on the drivers side door. Kim Mansfield lost his muffler. Inspite of the accidents they are planning to return for Pheasant Season. The William Sprouse family held their family reunion at the Cleve Sprouse residence in Ely, Nevada. A large number of the family went. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Patterson and family visited in Lapoint and Tridell this Monday. Mrs. Patterson was acquainted with Mr. Alburne in California before they moved here. Mr. Patterson is a teacher at Union. Eva Roberts was a visitor in Lapoint this past week. Billy Copps formerly of Lapoint visited here Sunday with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hancock and family have returned to Lapoint after spending the summer in North Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Russell, Roosevelt visited at the Golden Winn residence this past week. Mrs. Russell will be remembered as the former Thelma McKinnon. There was a large number of people who attended the Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ncbekerat the Moon Lake Building last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Hilary Workman, Vernal were visitors at the Golden Winn residence this week. Ralane and Howard Hill, Imlay, Nevada visited over Labor Day with Mrs. Hill's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Huber Lavella Matthews traveled to Salt IakeCity to attend a cousin reunion. It has been twenty years since the last meeting. The Uintah County assessor visited in Lapoint Thursday of last week. Utah State University representatives represen-tatives checked the water table in Lapoint this past week. Gussie Yack and Norma Cro.ier of Ncola visited Thelma Winn Wednesday of last week. Ralph Siddoway, Vernal visited in Ia point this week. |
