SIMONS were married at St. James Catholic Church August 17. Rev. George Davich officiated at the Nuptial Mass before relatives and friends of the couple. Pease-Simons united in St. James Church Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Simons were married August 17. at St. James Catholic Church. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Father George Davich performed the Nuptial Mass. Parents of the bride are Mr: and Mrs: W. L. Pease. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Ben Simons of Ft. Myers-, iri Florida. Katy and Kristan Hayes greeted the guests at the wedding and gave each lady a long stemmed carnation tied with a small- bow. was held at the Dinaland Country Club. The bride wore a traditional long wedding dress of silk chiffon and chantilly lace. The dress was designed with a Queen Anne neckline and lace bodice trimmed with pearls. The skirt was trimmed with layers of chantilly lace. The veil was trimmed with the same lace and pearls. The bridal bouquet was made with white gardenias and stephanotis with pearls in the centers and Sonja roses cascading down the front. Debbie Rosaschi was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kari Hoff, Jana Massey. Laura Simons and Laura Thompson. The maid of honor wore a peach quiana dress with empire waistline and accordion pleated skirt. The bridesmaids dresses were the same design in yellow and green. They all carried baskets with Sonja roses, white carnations, daisies and baby's breath trimmed with ribbons matching their dresses. The bride's mother wore a long peach colored dress with empire waistline. The grooms mother chose a long green dress with a chiffon cape. Allen Simons was bestman and the groomsmen were, Mark Pease. Toni Hatch. Terry Mengret. and Tracey Hatch. Mr. and Mrs. Al Higgins greeted the guests at the Country Club. Attending the guest book was Lynne Herring. The guest book table was decorated with a silver candelabra with a garland of roses, daisies and carnations. Corrine Pease. Gwen Parker and Isla King attended the buffet table which was decorated withja silver champagne buckel filled with Sonja roses, carnations car-nations and daisies. The bridesmaids haskets. corsages and floral arrangements were done by Nina Pease and Lorraine Higgins. The three tiered cake was decorated with candle-light icing and peach roses. In the center was a small water fountain. The top was decorated with sugar bells and peach roses. Out-of-town guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Ren Simons and Laura Simons. Ft. Myers. FL: Allen Simons, Cheyenne. WY; Terry Mengret, Seattle, WA: Mr. and Mrs. Tracey Hatch, FL: Mr. and Mrs. Wm. f. . Hayes. Singapore; Mr. Don Fridley. Anchorage AL; Carol Wiley. Denver. CO; Mr. and Mrs. Randy Thompson. Debbie Rosaschi and Sonja Sias, and other guests from several areas in Utah and Grand Junction and Craig. CO. A bridal breakfast was held Friday morning at the Skillet. The breakfast was hosted by Debbie Rosaschi. A personal bridal shower was given by Retty Eaton and June Mangum. A Miscellaneous shower was held at the home of Deon McLean with Lorraine Higgins and Lillian Henderson as co-hostesses. co-hostesses. The couple spent their honeymoon in Jackson Hole.Wyo. They are temporarily at home in Vernal. |
