Show Governor's Confab on Tourism Scheduled for March 24fh Blaine Shields and Mitch Williams of Moab, Travel Utah Directors ,this week announced an-nounced that the First Annual An-nual Conference and Banquet on Tourism and the Annual Meeting of Travel Utah, Inc., sponsored by Travel Utah. Inc., in cooperation with flic Utah Travel Council, will be held on Friday, March 24, in the Salt Palace, Salt Lake City. Travel Executives' from all parts of the state will meet to discuss Utah's growing tourist and recreation industry. indus-try. These gentlemen stated that a number of well known speakers spea-kers would be participating at the conference. These include, in-clude, Gov. Calvin L. Ramp-ton, Ramp-ton, Arthur F. Kelly, Sr., vice president and marketing director dir-ector for Western Airlines. Inc., Los Angeles; Arthur W. Moss, executive director of Club 20 for Colorado West, based in Grand Junction; Will B. Boynton, president of Travel Tra-vel Utah, Inc.; C. Lee Jor-gensen, Jor-gensen, director of the Utah Travel Council; Dr. John D. Hunt, director, Institute for the Study of Outdoor Recreation Recrea-tion and Tourism, Utah Stale University; Ronald 15. Mc-Millin, Mc-Millin, executive vice president presi-dent and general manager, Travel Utah, Inc.; M. M. Davis, Da-vis, Jr., sales manager, Uni-ted Uni-ted Airlines; and E. R. Dum-ke, Dum-ke, manager, Bullfrog Marina. Mar-ina. Mr. Shields and Mr. Williams Will-iams further stated that in addition to these speakers, a number of group table discussions discus-sions will be moderated by prominent travel leaders and will discuss such subjects as Winter Resort Development, Highway Access and Signage Problems, the Need for Convention Con-vention and Visitor Bureaus, Travel Shows and the Hooting Hoot-ing of Travel Agents and Writers, Research, Education and Studies; and Summer Development. At the completion of each table discussion the moderator will report on thi results of each discussion so that all in attendance might benefit from the thinking and expertise of those in attendance. atten-dance.
