Show Moab Student Honored at Coast School The Fresno State College Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, national honorary scholastic society initiated one student from Moab. John R. Shaffer, senior animal an-imal science major, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B Shaffer of 1881 Mill Creek Drive, Moab, Utah. Recognition was given to Pichit Lerttamiab, senior economics major from Bangkok, for receiving the Sparks Memorial Graduate Fellowship. Recognized for attaining (the highest scholastic records rec-ords for the Class of 1970 was Mrs. Connie Trevino, senior social science major, for the Fresno campus and Mrs. Genevieve Fabrizius, senior English major, for the Bakersfield campus. Both had straight-A records. Pamela C. Bocketti of Fresno and Joseph S. Lung of Hong Kong received rec-cnYition rec-cnYition for attaining the h ghest s?hDL..c records of the sophomore class. Phi Kappa Phi membership member-ship is limited tto students who have completed 93 units un-its of class work and maintained main-tained a 3.2 grade-point average av-erage on a 4.0 scale (4.0 .equals A) |
