Show BLM seeking comment on power line corridor Public comments are being sought by the Bureau of Land Management Manage-ment to help evaluate the wilderness aspects of the area that would be crossed by the electric power transmission lines and railroad rights-of-way associated as-sociated with the proposed pro-posed Intermountain Power Pow-er Project (IPP) in Emery County. These would be located in the western quarter of Emery County between the joint county line with Wayne County near the proposed Salt Wash power site and the 1 Utah Power and Light Emery Power Project. According to Gene Day, District Manager, the BLM is now conducting an inventory in the proposed project area to evaluate its wilderness potential. To assist in gaining public involvement, the BLM will hold a public meeting on November 16, 1978 starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Emery Country Courthouse, Castle Dale, Utah. Anyone interested in this project is invited to attend. Comments will be accepted during the meeting. meet-ing.
