Show Prescription pickup at Green River The Green River Clinic has announced that prescriptions pre-scriptions written at the clinic can now be picked up daily at Desert Edge Sundries. Homecoming royalty left to right, Miss Congeniality Leslie Ekker, 2nd Attendant Jeannee Lasson, Queen Audrey Thompson, 1st Attendant Shalia Burr. .'v Mrs. Florence Howland, Mrs. Jo Baxter and Ror Taylor, as he presented a ribbon for the Woman's Gut participation in Melon Day. FRIDAY The parade started at 1:00 in the afternoon with 4 floats and the band marching along with it. The Pep Assembly brought up the spirit of the ball team with a variety of cheers and games between the classes. class-es. The football game was the most exciting thing that has happened in our school this year. It took 4 overtimes and lots of get up and go from our Pirate Team. They were victorious victor-ious over Duchesne 24 to 18. The Pirates did a good job and the whole school is very proud of this accomplishment. accom-plishment. The Girl's Volleyball team played right after the football team. The J.V. was victorious. 1st game 15 to 1 G.R., 2nd game 10 to 15 Duchesne, 3rd game 15 to 13 Pirates. The Varsity team played very well this game with lots of real good saves, sets and especially spikes. 1st game 15 to 2 G.R., 2nd game 11 to 15 Duchesne, 3rd game 15 to 5 G.R. CONGRATULATIONS to both teams for the great team work! The dance was also held tonight thanks to Al Shepherd coming in at the last minute and providing the music. We all had fun this week in the different events and happenings. The floats were the funnest for juniors and seniors.
