Show New Drilling Scheduled Throughout Uiah Seven new locutions have been selected and approved fur drilling In Duchesne County as well as new drilling dril-ling scheduled In Utah's southeastern Grand and San Juan Counties, according to CarlKin Stowe, Utah Geolotil-cul Geolotil-cul Survey specialist. Mapco Inc., Billings based company will drill three Intended extension ex-tension tests in the Altamont field, all scheduled to depths of 18,000 feet. The wells are three to four miles north and northwest of the filed. In Altamont Field, Gulf Oil Cor- 'poratlon has made location for a projected 11,000 foot test In Its latest series of development well work In the area. At Bluebell field, Gas Producing Enterprises, Vernal, Ver-nal, has two location fordril- ling. Both are scheduled to depths below 17,000 feet. Chevron Oil will also drill a Ute-Tribal well at Bluebell to about 15,500 feet. The Chevron well Is on the southwest south-west side of the field and is about two miles wouthwest of the closest producer. Tejas "Gas Corporation, Corpus Christl, will drill 3 new wells to at least 2,600 feet In the Cisco Springs area. One well Is a development test within the field and the other two are a mile southwest and northeast of Cisco Springs. Tejas Is operator and builder of the 42 mile $600,000 pipeline being constructed con-structed to connect Pacific Norhtwest Pipeline's gas line at a point about 16 miles east of Cisco Dome field and some eight miles southeast of Cisco Springs. In San Juan County, Aneth field will get three new wells by Texaco Inc. Texaco plans to drill the wells to depths of 5,500 feet. And, Mountain Fuel Supply has a projected 6,200 fool test scheduled about 10 mile: east of the town of Monticelk In the Piute Knoll area. |
