Show Miller's Super Market Opens Colorado Store Miller's Super Market has purchased a "grocery' store in Grand Junction, Colo.) which will be -operated under the name of Millers Food Town, according to Ralph Miller, Jr., of the Moab store. Located at 2231 North Seventh Se-venth Street, the market has been closed for exensive repairs re-pairs and remodeling which will include new lighting, shelving and counters. The store, formerly called Wad-dell's Wad-dell's Market, will feature an entire new inventory and stock supply when re-opened on August 1L Mr. Miller indicated that negotiations for the purchase of the store have been in the planning siage for quite some tune, the puichase included the existing equipment in the store, excluding the inventory. in-ventory. Millers Food Town will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 pm. and will be managed by Gene Smith, formerly of Moab, now of the Los Angeles, California area. Mr. Smith has been in the food and drug business for the past twelve years, including in-cluding serving as manager of a Safeway Market and working for the Superette Drug Store chain in California. Califor-nia. He has purchased a home in Grand Junction and will be moving there with his family. |
