Show .Gty Court g. Cites Action -m In Three Cases Three criminal matters were taken before Judge Donald Crist this last week along with various speeding and traffic hearings. Kenny Hawks of Moab, appeared in court on August 1 on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Following a conference between the two lawyers present, the city prosecutor requested the court to change the charge to reckless driving. Mr. Hawks pled guilty to this charge and was fined $150. On Monday, Franklin D. Ashley, Mississippi, appeared appear-ed for driving a vehicle with improper registration. He pled guilty to the charge and was sentenced to four days in the county jail. Kenneth Boyd White, picked pick-ed up last week after a family fam-ily squabble in a local trailer court appeared before the court an dplead guilty to a charge of assault and battery. He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail. After being be-ing sentenced, he requested that the sentence be suspended sus-pended if he w;ould leave town and return to Arizona. Request was granted. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Carter and daughter recently return ed from a vacation trip to California where they took in Disneyland and other scenic araas on the coast. They also stopped in Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nevada enroute home, |
